Specializing in the care and treatment of the kidneys, Dr. Villarreal is a thriving nephrologist with Southwest Texas Nephrology in San Antonio, Texas. In practice since 1984, he is also affiliated with several hospitals and medical centers throughout the state of Texas, including Christus Santa Rosa Medical Center, Metropolitan Methodist Hospital, Baptist Medical Center, Methodist Hospital, Southwest General Hospital, St Luke’s Baptist Hospital, and Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. Following the completion of his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in 1977, Dr. Villarreal went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
